Annual Glow Series  -  Four Events 

Trophies for over all winners - three one round glow events + 2 round finale

September:   8th  - 15th  -  22nd - 26th,  2009

sign-up:    5-7:30 pm  -  Tee Off 8:00 pm (8th,15th,22rd)

one round of glow golf - additional $1 Ace Fund (Carries over)

Entry: $6.00/person 
( goes to $1.50 entry  &  rest glow sticks, trophies, prizes, etc )

Weather Permitting - Participation limited to a minimum of 6 players - min 3 per division

 

  • Glow Discs only - no lighted  discs- no taped-on LEDS  (use of non-glow discs results in 1-penalty per throw)

  • Black lights or flash attachments only - no flashlights

  • Glow Discs available for sale at the booth anytime $12ea

  • Mini UV lights available - $9.99 with & $7.99 w/o batts

  • Each week is a tournament in itself - play one or play them all

  • Earn points each week - Triple points for 2 Round Finale

  • Prizes each week - Trophies for over-all 1st/2nd Place winners

  • Pro - AM1 - AM2  Divisions (min 3 for division to be held)

The Finale on 9/26 is a 2 round Tournament in itself!
There will be Prizes for the top 1/3 of each division based on the number of entries and results for that event. Remember Sign-up is 4p-5:30p - Registration closes at 5:30 sharp!

The Point Series is a separate Deal:
Trophies will be awarded to 1st & 2nd place over-all points series winners in Pro, Am1 & Am2 divisions.
 
The Ace fund will be $2 for Saturday + any carry over from the other nights.  

How Points are awarded for the triple point Finale
Points for the two rounds will be calculated separately (if you beat 3 players in each of the 2 rounds, you will get 3x3=9pts for the 1st round and 3x3=9pts for the second round +3 for playing for a total of 21pts).  You will also get an additional 1 point
(per round)  if you win your division (i.e. 3+1=4x3=12 total per round).  No 1/2 points will be awarded for ties for ties.

Posted 9/26/09 - 1pmThe Glow Final will go on as planned, weather permitting.  We will not start the final in the pouring rain and since we are under time constraints with the park closing at 10pm, if the event is unable to start on time, the rain date will be Sunday 9/27 same time and details.  If the event goes forward it will only be called if there is lightning.

Total Skills Disc Golf Challenge

3 EVENTS

1st Event - Multi Skills Golf
 ~18 Holes~

Drives must consist of:

  • 6 backhands

  • 6 side arms

  • 3 rollers (forehand, backhand, ok)

  • 3 overheads (thumber, tommahawk, or scubie, ok)

2nd Event - Putting Contest

Featuring:  Around 9  and  Mach 3, Chainstar, and Discatcher baskets

Format to be announced

3rd Event - Accuracy Contest

2 - round 6 shot CTP

3 - round 9 shot 3 station
(at stationary target - golf discs ok)

$10/event  or  $20 all three    

Trophies for 1st place in each event and for 1st & 2nd over-all

Schedule:  Registration 9-9:45 ~  Golf -tee off 10am  ~  Putting  &  Accuracy to follow

Beginners Disc Golf Clinics for 2008

Need a little more control or distance in your game....maybe we can be of help

 

  • Must pre-register at booth by the day before the clinic date!

  • Held in the field adjacent to the Pro Shop / Starters Booth

  • Every other Saturday morning beginning

  • For a total of 4 Saturdays ending 10/11

  • Bring your Frisbee/discs

  • Approximately 30/60 min.

  • Weather permitting

  • Free of charge

  • 10 - 11am

 

 

PDGA Rules for Withdraws and Refunds
 


A. A player may official withdraw only by contacting the Tournament Director.
B. Players must email or phone their withdrawals to the Tournament Director only at the contact      information posted.
C. Discussions with persons other than the Tournament Director, including other tournament staff, shall not be considered official.
D. No refunds will be issued after the 7th day prior to the start of the event, but the player shall be sent a player’s package if one was provided to event competitors.
E. Withdrawals made before the 7th day prior to the start of the event shall receive a 50% refund.
F. Withdrawals made 14 days prior to the start of the event shall be refunded 100 %, less postage and handling, which shall not exceed 10% of the entry fee.
